Merge PDF

Join up to 20 PDFs into a single document. Arrange the files, press Merge, and the combined PDF downloads straight away. The files are merged on your device, not on a server.

Runs in your browser. What you enter here is not sent to our server.

    How to merge PDF files

    1. Choose two or more PDFs, or drop them on the box.
    2. Use the arrow buttons to put them in the right order.
    3. Select “Merge PDFs”. The combined file downloads as merged.pdf.

    Good to know

Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and image quality is unchanged. The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals. If the result is too large to email, compress any photos before turning them into PDFs, or split the document into parts.

    Questions about the Merge PDF

Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?

The files are read and combined inside your browser and are not uploaded to our server. As with any website, use a device and browser you trust.

Why does a file fail with a password message?

Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged until the protection is removed. Open the file in a PDF reader, enter the password and save an unprotected copy first.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

Page content is preserved. Document-level extras such as bookmarks (outlines) and some interactive form behaviour may not carry over.

Will the merged PDF have a watermark?

No. Nothing is added to your pages.
