Case Converter
Fix text typed with Caps Lock on, format headlines in title case, or turn phrases into camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case for code and file names.
Runs in your browser. What you enter here is not sent to our server.
What each option does
- UPPER CASE and lower case change every letter.
- Title Case capitalises the main words and leaves short words such as “and”, “of” and “the” in lower case unless they start a line.
- Sentence case capitalises the first letter of each sentence and the word “I”.
- camelCase, snake_case and kebab-case join the words on each line for use in code, database columns, file names and URLs.
Sentence case cannot know which words are names, so check proper nouns such as people, places and brands afterwards.
Questions about the Case Converter
Which title case style does this follow?
A general style close to AP and Chicago: main words are capitalised and common short articles, conjunctions and prepositions are not. House styles vary, so adjust individual words if your style guide differs.
Does it work with accented and non-English letters?
Yes. It uses your browser’s Unicode case rules, so letters such as é, ñ and ü convert correctly.
