Google SERP Preview Tool
Check a page title and meta description before publishing. See an approximate Google result on desktop and mobile, with warnings when text is likely to be cut off.
This is an approximation. Google measures titles in pixels, rewrites some of them, and often builds its own description from the page.

- Shorten anything marked as likely to be cut off.
Why pixels matter more than characters
Google limits titles by width, not by character count, so a title full of wide letters such as W and M is cut sooner than one full of i and l. This tool measures your title in pixels as well as characters. Treat the result as a guide: Google sometimes rewrites titles and frequently builds its own snippet from the page text when it thinks that answers the search better.
Questions about the Google SERP Preview Tool
Will my result look exactly like this?
No tool can promise that. Layouts change and Google may rewrite titles and descriptions. The preview shows whether your text fits the usual space.
Where should the most important words go?
At the start of both the title and the description, so they survive if the end is cut off.
